At the surface, it's the same mind-set as all the faith healers in revival tents. "What! Your incurable disease is back? The you don't have enough faith!"

But the other thing I get from hearing about the book is that it's all about being positive. If you think 'light' (happy, positive, insert favorite adjective [here]), the you get 'light'. Sorta like that whole 'what goes around comes around' and 'reap what ye sow', but let's not forget 'be careful what you wish for, you might get it' (Insert favorite platitude [here]).



>Really! Just think about it hard enough and it's yours! Cures balding, breast cancer, poverty, AIDs, anything you can imagine can be yours with just a few simple thoughts throughout the day. Want that coworker who is married with three kids to have an affair with you? Just think about it! Want to own that Corvette you've always dreamed of, but could never buy because you only make $6.75/hr pushing grocery carts around? It's yours! And, if you don't get what you want, then it's your fault! That's right, everything negative that happens to you is your fault. That car accident where that drunk driver came out nowhere and wiped out a crowd of people? That was the fault of those people. Really! So, unless you fork over the money for the book and/or DVD (it's even available as a pay-per-view download!) then you will be a loser like all those others who do not have a false sense of control over their lives.
