I have not seen the specification content for the exams. So, for me to give you advise on specifically how to pass the new VFP exams - well, would be silly of me. I understand there is a study group getting under way here. However, I really don't see the benefit of it until the exams are ready to go. That time frame could be as much as 3 months. In the meantime, to get an idea of the types of questions, I would check out the VB 6 exams.
In general, you need to be know the IDE and langauge constructs rather well. The new exams have a different format in terms of subject matter - and I have not seen them yet. So, in addition to the theory, you may have to have some knowledge of how to apply the theory as well. IMHO, this is a giant step in the right direction. Any goofball can pass an exam. Applying the knowledge is another thing alltogether.
