I have tested it under the below scenarios and it seems to work just fine.

Scenario 1:
- app running on Win95
- printer connected to same computer as app
- job count was checked from same computer as app

Scenario 2:
- app running on Win95
- printer connected to NT Server v4.0
- job count was checked from a different computer than app which was also Win95
