I included the sentences you suggest...And finally obtain a more explicit error message and it is:

connectivity error [Microsoft][ODBC SQL server driver][SQL Server]
Cannot insert explicit value for indetity column in table Mytablename when IDENTITY_INSERT is set to OFF
