It seems the rdf:RDF syntax cannot be supported as is when using the Imports System.XML approach. The use of a namespace is probably required. However, in my case, I am dealing with several blogs from the net and I cannot know the namespace definition of those. Anyone would have a recommendation on how to extract that node in such circumstance?
