I've tried inside VFP a simple test
=EXECSCRIPT('use Project.DBF' + CHR(13) + CHR(10) + 'copy to Excel.xls type xls')

and it worked. Are you using the latest VFP OleDb driver? What exactly did you try?

You may also need to use full paths for Excel file and for your table.
