Hi Mike
What are the 'Office Web Controls' Are thes a standard part of Visual Studio and if so how do I access them ?

Regards,
Gerard

>>>A web service is for connecting to database and business objects remotely. It has nothing to do with UI.

>>>What is your reason for using webform in the first place? If it is to connect to remote data, I would look into using web services to do that and create a windows form.

>>Hi Mike,
>>Particular UI functions like data entry can be hard to customize in a web form. Maybe you should think about using a windows form with web services to your database.
>>
>>It was as a rsult of your suggestion that I considered using web services....I took it up incorrectly that a Web Service could be used to access a Windows Form???
>>
>>The only reason I was going for something like this was because I need a way, web based, of being able to go up and down a column and amend the bcells, like in Excel... I have'nt seen anything thats web based that can do this.
