Thanks again Cathy for your response

With respect to detail1 band not overflowing:
What I gather from what you are saying is that is should be working utilizing the "start detail set on new page when less than" property. I can try creating another detailBand to and moving all objects to that band.

With respect to question2:
There currently are two check stubs as stated. One for documentation, one to go with the check to the client. I can now get 14 lines on each stub. Overflow to the next page would not be necessary in the rare case of more than 14 lines per stub. The users would simply make a photo copy of the first page for documentation purposes as they seperate the stubs. This being the case, I would want no overflow if lines > 14. Your recommendation of eliminating the lines for the alias of detailBand2 sounds like it will work.

I will let you know when I get the time to try it out.

One more question: I currently redirect output to various printer trays, but is it possible to redirect to a different page on an overflow?? That would be another option

Thanks, Vince
