If they are illegal sometimes they are deported amd sometimes they are given leave to stay . Sometimes the decisions seem very unfair . People who have grown up here and effectively know no other home get deported at the same time people who are criminals but can prove they may come to harm in their home country get to stay.

>Congress just decided that doing that would result in 7 million more illegals within a fairly short amount of time. So, it's not just the millions here already, but the many more that would see it ok as they would become legal after they were here. I think you need to simply wake up. By the way, how are illegals handled in England?

>>I see you go 0 to 60 in 2 seconds on this.
>>I would regularise (is that a real word) the position of those already here. (many of whom may have families and be settled in) and put in place proper provision for letting some people in and keeping others out. This constant whinging about the millions already here (there in the US) is a complete waste of time. Wake up and smell the coffee. They're here (there) and they're staying. Keeping them illegal juts dreates a problem.
>>
>>>You would support giving millions of illegal immigrants free citizenship and benefits if they came from Mexico but no other country. You would be willing to the foot the bill for 2 trillion dollars? If that is the case, then why hasn't England done the same? What happens in England if you are an illegal immigrant and get caught in country? I stress 'illegal' because the difference is all the difference in the world.

>>>>>>>Other than here on the UT (and I'm not even sure about here anymore), I do not know a single Republican who supports Bush or his administration today. Not a single one. That includes every single active duty military member I've spoken to recently (granted I have not talked to them all). The immigration bill was the last straw.
