>All of the aid that went and goes to Turkey has not been solely for military, political, or geopolitical gain. While much aid is indeed based on that, it is still an unfair statement. Besides, if you really feel that way, then all aid to all countries should be stopped. That would be a disaster to those countries whose people are fed from foreign aid.

Hi Tracy,
I think that it will be fair US to stop provide aid. Why?
Most of this aid is needless, because people in this country need not it.
Simple example - in Bulgaria US Goverment provide from 1993 felowships for military officer for an year training in US military academies. The feloships were gotten from 2 class peoples:
- those who have political relations in BG army headquater who use training as free visit in US and to learn english. They didn't learn anything.
- smart high motivated officers with high level of English proficiency. All those officer after return from US accademies were retired or cut down from the staff. I know at least 4 of them.
Result of this aid is 0.
There are many people which getting aid is way of living. They does not like to work, to change his life, to survive, they only expect next portion of aid. Look what happens in Palestine.
