What I meant was him being in the driver's seat at both the Masters and U.S. Open -- two of the handful of tournaments a year he focuses on -- and losing them in the final round. That had not happened to him in a major before, much less back to back. He is still the best player in golf. But there is a dent or two in his aura of invincibility.

Back to Michelle Wie, I saw in the sports news that she withdrew again in the midst of another disastrous round. She shot an 82 in the opening round of the Women's Open and was 6 over through 9 holes on Friday when she pulled out due to a "wrist injury." This kid needs some time off.
