>>>Since this now has me overly tweeked I've decieded to go back to the Home Depot before I come to the office tommorow and take a survey.

That sounds like a great idea, what are you gonna say? "Excuse me gentlemen, any illegals in this meeting that I could report to the authorities?". Not sure what's next, but how about asking them for contributions for the minuteman?

>>>I tossed a number out a few minutes ago (80%) that 8 out of 10 of the people there looking for work would be illegal aliens. Perhaps you'd like to toss out a number?

OK, here's my guess 10 out 10 are looking for a job, that's what's OBVIOUS to me.
You are missing the point, explained in a few words, the discussion here is not what those people are, but what you think of them beforehand without having the certainty and making it public.
With only one of them being documented or even American, you could be in the verge of trespassing the law. If you went to every Home Depot in the country, don't you think you have a chance of hitting the wall?

>>>Look, this 'everyone is a racist' crap is getting ridicilious. I see a bunch of foriegn guys at a hardware store waaay far away from anything trying to get cash-only gigs and I say that looks like a bunch of illegal aliens and now all of a sudden I'm racist? What kind of B.S. is that? Duuuuh! It's a bunch of illegal aliens! There is a difference between an observation and a racist comment.

First, I never ever called you a racist. I think you made a racist comment though. Secondly, how do you know everyone was even foreigner?

>>>I suppose if I saw a bunch of white guys sitting in a resturant talking about general ledgers and accounting practices and I said "that's a bunch of accountants" I suppose that makes me some evil white-guy-hating racist or something? dammn people! Go back, read my post to Jay that outlines very carefully how I came to my conclusion (7 points) and explain to me where this racist malarkey is coming from - cuase you know what - I just dont get it. Here I am 40+ years old and up until today I've never seemed to of had this problem.

That's a very poor example. Accounting is a profession, a profession is something neutral to the law, is not bad or good. Assuming that people are 'illegals' because they are joining outside of a shop and they fit perfect in a stereotype is discriminatory, and since there's an ethnic group involved, it is a racist observation.

Once you start discriminating, then there's no limit. The nazis are a perfect example of what I'm saying.
