I also had two versions graph5 and graph8. but there is a common class entry in win95's registry that is Msgraph.Application. I change the setting of MsGraph.Application class and make it point to VFP\DISTRIB.SRC\MSAPPS\MSGRAPH\GRAPH5.EXE and it worked.

In my PC, where the app runs ok, I have graph5 and graph8, and in the other PC I have two graph5 in different locations of the registry. Do you think that deleting all 'graphs' in registry and installing another time the app it will run? (and msgraph with excel or access will run too) What do you do when you have this problem?
