A while back I turned autohide off for taskbar and don't regret it.

It may be that it happens sometimes after I run my app from the IDE. Not sure but sometimes this effect is knocked on top the other open windows so I have to minimise all till I get to my desired window. It's like going back to Windows 3.X.
