>>I have a client that needs to maintain a Foxpro 2.6 product, at least for awhile, but would like to have web access to those files. Is there a product that allows access and update of 2.6 tables while allowing the 2.6 program to continue to operate on the same files?

>You can treat the 2.6 tables as Remote data, and access them through ODBC. VFP can do this as well as any other ODBC capable DBMS.
>Your options regarding internet access are wide and varied, but if you prefer VFP as your development tool, I highly recommend Rick's West-Wind Web Connection.
I'll need to make an active web server on our company intranet eventually. What benefits will vfp6 bring to the task? What will West Wind do for me? Is it being updated for vfp6 promptly?
