Thanks for replying to my posting.

1. Yes,I would like to see what you've got "half-done".

2. When I use Outlook 2003, or 2007 for working with Mail, I have it configured so that the Navigation pane is on the left side the full height of the window. It shows my mail folder. To the right of that, the window is divided in two horizontally. The top right window shows what messages are in the folder I have selected on the left. The bottom right window is the "preview pane" showing me the contents of the message that I have selected in the top-right window.

Outlook has the ability to show a variety of content in the preview pane. For example, if the message has a JPG attachment, I can see that in the preview pane.

So, I would like to have that functionality.
