I need to know how to access an Oracle sequence from Visual Foxpro 5.0
I have set up a remote view to the sequence within Foxpro, but I can't seem to get the sequence to increment by selecting the value from the remote view. I tried the refresh() procedure, but I get the error message:

No update tables are specified, use the Tables property of the cursor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
