>>>Wow! You can afford HDz's ice cream? I already have a mortgage, so I stay away from it. Freaks me out. I can't imagine what would make it so darned expensive. I mean, it's ice cream, right? No hidden jewellery, or gold coins?

>>No-no-no. I can't afford it. It's noticeable here that the HDz IC parlour at the seaside has been replaced bt a B&J's; perhaps NO-ONE can afford it!
>>Besides, I've discovered one of the best ice-creams available: Mackies of Scotland (believe it or not there is a big ice-cream making tradition in Scotland). It ONLY comes in plain vanilla and in twice the size tubs for half the price of HDz.

>According to the site, they don't flavour the ice cream "not even vanilla". So I guess it just tastes like milk and cream? Not that the flavour of cold milk is a bad thing (I love cold milk).

Oh, I assumed all plain white ic was vanilla-flavoured. Yes, i guess it doesn't taste of vanilla. Not that UK IC usually has any real vanilla pods in it.

Yeah, I'm an old milk sop myself. Never any white patches on my nails when I was a kid.
