I installed VS 2005 Professional (Trial edition, full package) on my PC (Vista) and VS refuse to load correctly. I get a bunch of "Package Load Failure" at startup ("Package 'Visual Studio Common IDE Package' has failed to load properly..." for exemple). I did run Windows Update a couple of times to get all the latest patches.

The IDE comes up after I closed the messageboxes, but I can't create a project ("Project creation failed" in the statusbar). I did try to repair the installation, but it still fail to load.

Any ideas on how to get VS to work on my PC?
