Actually, I need to be as careful doing yardwork as I am with fireworks. In the last 3 years, I've had 3 major bouts of poison ivy, fell off my riding mower and hurt my ribs, bee stings, and a few weeks ago I had a scratched cornea because I was doing some weed trimming without wearing my goggles and caught some flying debris in my right eye. Yet I've never had so much as a singe from fireworks.
