That whining, mournful, Dido dirge put me off watching from season 1 way back! Can't stand her.
Gave me the creeps about the whole show.

>Just made it through season 2 and started on season 3. I heard that they get a bit dark/weird through 3 and 4, and then get back to normal for 5 and 6.

>>Hi Mike,
>>
>>My son (16) and I enjoy it. We have the first and second seasons on DVD and are working our way through the second now. Later years seem to be a bit more intense than some of the earlier stuff.
>>
>>I was a big Superboy/man fan growing up. Read all the comic books and knew all about him. Wanted to grow up and be like him ... didn't quit make it. :-) I appreciate the difficult, real life, situations they place Clark in and his struggles to deal with them, but we could do without some of the unnecessary more graphic stuff which shows up from time to time.
>>
>>All in all, it brings back fond memories of my childhood ... a simpler time :-) and enjoy the show.

>>>Any Smallville fans? I am in the middle of the first season and am kicking myself for not watching it earlier. It's not as intense/suspenseful as Lost or Heroes, but it's a fun show to watch.
