>Two of my all time favorite shows. I took (still take) a lot of ribbing for liking those. I'm also a Veronica Mars fan. There. I said it... <g>

>>Since you seem to be open to realistic drama <s> if you haven't watch Buffy or Angel ( 7 seasons of Buffy - 5 of Angel ) from beginning to end you have a big treat in store. IMHO this represented some of the best stuff ever on TV - more realism in one episode of Buffy that all of 24.

Absolutely! Kirsten Bell is Buffy-level brilliant. ( she was also terrific in her short shot on Deadwood ) Veronica Mars was a very good show.

( and the ribbing generally comes from people who've never watched. Buffy is on TV critics list of 50 best TV shows of all time )

Charles Hankey

- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
