Correct. But all seven seasons are on DVD ( Netflix has them all, of course as do most public libraries etc) Watch them in sequence from the beginning. Joss Whedon shows are all about characters changing and evolving and the actors really get to do some stretching during the story arc - much more so than most shows because of the pretty elastic nature of the format. Geller is brilliant but so is the rest of the cast, bit players and assorted monsters. Watch the first season and you will be completely hooked ( and it just gets better and better )

>>Since you seem to be open to realistic drama <s> if you haven't watch Buffy or Angel ( 7 seasons of Buffy - 5 of Angel ) from beginning to end you have a big treat in store. IMHO this represented some of the best stuff ever on TV - more realism in one episode of Buffy that all of 24.

>>>Just made it through season 2 and started on season 3. I heard that they get a bit dark/weird through 3 and 4, and then get back to normal for 5 and 6.

Wanted to grow up and be like him ... didn't quit make it. :-) I appreciate the difficult, real life, situations they place Clark in and his struggles to deal with them, but we could do without some of the unnecessary more graphic stuff which shows up from time to time.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
