Some pretty sad (and pathetic) stories in there. (I couldn't believe the drag racing part). Some pretty strange people out there. Mine is just good clean fun (of course it's all fun and games until someone loses a limb!)

I play music from my boom-box. I'm far enough out in the backyard that no one from the deck can really see what I'm doing until something actually gets lit off. I played Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and fired off one of my biggest tube cakes when they get to the famous "jamming" part of the song (best described by Wayne and Garth's in the famous car scene). (yes, there's a choregraphy element to all this!)

Actually, my passion for this is tied to something personal - several years ago, I had a great personal victory right around July 4th, so it's always my favorite time of the year. I'm a sentimental sucker.
