I don't understand why ESC doesn't cancel OLE D&D in my app. The drag is started manually after a certain amount of cursor movement (we have found that automatic dragmode is too sensitive and kicks in too soon). The D&D itself works fine overall. Also, when the cursor is dragged outside of the VFP app, the esc key works. However, while the dragging is going on inside the VFP app, ESC doesn't cancel. We are using an OLEdragPicture and nEffect of 1 (Copy). When ESC is hit, the Windows intrinsic drag-drop iconic mouse cursor for "copy" goes away, but the OLEdragPicture stays there, and the operation does not cancel. Anybody got any ideas?
