I know what you mean. Lately I have gotten an unwelcome refresher course in some of the legacy settings in the course of converting some FoxPro DOS 2.6 code to VFP. The guy who wrote the original systems was still using a dBASE III style even though the code was written in the mid to late 1990s. SET TALK, SET STATUS BAR, SET ODOMETER, CLOSE DATA ALL, etc. (And never saving or resetting a thing). If you are feeling nostalgic for that kind of programming I can send you some of it, LOL.
