>>Absolutely nothing like what I said. I'll say this as simply as I can. There are people in this world who are not as capable as you are. They aren't blessed with the same mental acuity that you are. They end up working at Walmart because that's what they are capable of doing. You feel that it's therefore ok for Walmart to treat them like slaves, and I don't.

>The place where we live is quite good, the one downside being that the nearest grocery is... at Walmart.

>We've long ago limited our shopping there to bare necesities (i.e. just basic fridge refills, clothes by the yard and kitchen chemicals, trash bags, not much more). New microwave? Go anywhere else, the first one (from Kmart) lasted five years, 2nd (from Walmart) lasted barely two. Anything with moving parts? No.

>The atmosphere inside is truly depressive - the place is in dire need of airing. It all reeks of industrial vapors, solvents, plastic, whatever - and since the difference between smell and stink is in concentration, detergent lane and candles lanes are the worst. Because I never go down the doggie aisle.

>And its educational value is priceless: keep up with your IT knowledge, you don't want to end as a greeter. Don't they have retirements in this country?

I don't get it. I keep being told that such an environment is unsustainable. Is Walmart going to go bankrupt soon?
