>>>And I'm still not clear on how somebody who is not capable of learning more skilled jobs is supposed to learn a more skilled job. I just wish people would stop equating the entire world with themselves. I can learn a new skill, therefore everybody can. Simply not true.

>>Then look at it this way. If it wasn't for places like Walmart, what would those "unlearnables" (as you say) do, where would they go to work?
>>And I think a lot of them are working towards something else while working at "Walmart".
>>
>>I think most of those that work at "Walmart" can learn other things. I don't see a whole lot of mentally challenged working at Walmart.
>>
>>Alan, if a schmuck like me can earn a living, anyone can... no joke.

>I realise you believe that, but I'm afraid we're at odds on this one. I repeat, not everyone is as smart as you and I. You don't have to be mentally challenged to fall below the IQ average. So you fall below that line, you go out and learn a new skill, and just about everyone applying for the jobs with that skill are smarter than you. What are your chances. Better to suck it up and stay at Walmart and let them treat you however they like.
Alright, fine... if you feel that way... at least they have a place like Walmart where they can be productive and work.
