>Years ago, I actually considered the idea of going by "Kevin Scott" (my first and middle name)...unfortunately, there's a member of a popular American band with the same name, along with a speed skater, and another UT member named Kevin Scott. So I gave up on creating a name that no one else had. ;)

Despite of my name being quite rare here, it's quite frequent, at least in my generation. Seemed to be a bit of a fad in the fifties. In each class where I was, there were at least one or two more with the same name. And my deskmate was one of them, by last name of Nedeljkov (no -ich). We don't look alike at all, but he'd still occasionally get my B in geography :).

So I'm not quite googlable myself - there's a certain philologist, Dragiša Nedeljković (which was accidentally the name of my grandfather's brother), but he prefers to be called Dragan, and he signs his science papers so. For me, linguistics is a hobby, and I surely hope this guy in Paris doesn't do Fox for a hobby, which would make the confusion complete.
