Nice one, Russel. Well observed. Like I said, I've never noticed the perm. of actions that sometimes got the taskbar back.

UPDATE: Well, next day and it's happened again. I did as you did, minimisiing all apps, and the task bar does pop up for each app, but it does not once I restore or max VFP - so not a blind bit of difference. :-(
