I don't believe for a minute that the future OSs will not support 32BIT PROGRAMS. I don't see any reason to believe that future 64 bit OSs won't support 32 applications.

They have to provide a solution to 32 bit programs. For the same reason current Windows version still support 16 bit programs (FPD 2.x and FPW 2.6 still run on those).
