Wow, glad to see you are ok - your wife as well. I've had too many close calls with tornadoes over the years (most of them in Wisconsin). When I was 15 I was actually in a car outracing a tornado (looking for a ditch to jump into). At 10 while riding my bike I watched one go right over my head with everything imaginable flying around inside of it. At 11 I watched one out of my basement window following the Wisconsin river. There were a couple of other times as well, but you get the picture. The only good thing about a tornado is that when you compare it to a hurricane, its life is much shorter...

I don't normally freak out during a tornado and would rather go outside to watch for one instead of sitting in a basement not knowing, but this time I was shaking and almost in a panic.
