Thanks for your quick response. I just created a form with a timer at 6000 interval and put your code in the Timer() method and changed the backcolor of a shape to green for a .T., red for a .F.

Is there a way to know the ms time of a ping? Probably we can give a minimum ms, so even if the connection is OK as soon as the time drops below the given ms we can turn the backcolor of the shape to orange?

In the same utility thoughts, is there a way to make this form minimize to the systray?
