I'm not sure why you're getting the function in your textbox instead of its value. Are you putting an = before the expression in the property sheet? You really shouldn't convert the daa to a character string anyway. If you leave it a date, you can easily create your spinner by adding or subtracting 1 from the date when the user presses the spinner arrows. Try putting =DATE()-30 for the value.

I have set the value of the text box for the Beginning Date to Value=DTOC(DATE()-30). When I run the form, 'DTOC(DATE()-30)' is what shows up in the text box. Having ran into these problems I haven't put the text box for the Ending Date on the form as of yet.
