your welcome. As far as the port number goes, we never use the default port, we always use something over 10,000. We can do this because we control both ends of the transmission and it makes it much more secure. Watching router logs I never see any probes get into 5 digits.

As long as both the server and client are looking at the same port and passive port range you can use anything you want except ports used by other services. I believe the suggested range for passive is over 5,000. Say 5011 - 5015. Again we use a range over 10,000.
