Aren't the majority of the sessions conducted in the native language of the host country? I know there are typically some sessions conducted in English, but it limits the choices given my limited knowledge of other languages compared to an event located in an English speaking country. Having written that, I was really hoping to attend the Prague conference last year because the sessions looked very interesting but then I realized that most of the sessions I was really interested in were not in English. Plus, I would have had to foot the entire bill myself for that one and it was just not a good time for me given my recent move.

>Don't rule out the foreign conferences such as Prague and Germany. Many times airline prices to Europe are less than US domestic. I've been to both the above conferences and they're fabulous.

>>Jay - I'm one of those types. Not many sheckels in the company's training budget sadly, so the costs would fall to moi. In the past i have attended (on my own dime) the Atlanta Fox show that Kevin Cully puts on, and i thought it was money well spent. But its rare. The Atlanta show had some particular sessions that i wanted to attend so i bit the bullet. Same is true with SWFox but I have not yet decided. For me, timing would be perfect to catch some specific sessions. And i dare say that it may be the last one. Plus the fact the DougH said he's buying beer for all attendees is a plus.
