I haven't looked at this lately, but do recall having an issue with one app where everything worked fine with Word 2000, but there were problems with the same code and Word XP. Never did get that sorted out, as the client decided to standardize on Office 2000.

My vague recollection is that starting in Word XP, there were two different ways to get at the field list and one worked and one didn't.
