I enjoy driving and the autobahn is one of my favorite drives :o) Well, if you discount the many racers zipping by so fast you can't even determine the make of the car only the color if you look fast enough :o) My absolute favorite drive is actually an area north of Sacramento, CA. It even beats the San Juans in Colorado and Gunnison. It is beautiful, quiet and full of rolling hills. I love Germany - I lived there for 3 years and it is one of my favorite places in the world. However, it has been far too many years and long after I returned to the states I entered Spanish immersion which in effect wiped my mind almost entirely of the German language. :o( I wouldn't understand much of anything I'm afraid. Still, it is a conference I would love to attend and maybe one year I will be able to.

>Tracy,
>>Aren't the majority of the sessions conducted in the native language of the host country?
>I know you have been here. You know that german is not a really nice language, but also bordering on sickness... So a large part of the germans actually is glad to speak english again.

>We have between 1 and 3 sessions at every time except for the 1 or 2 common sessions - and theses are half'n'half as usually someone from the data team is aroud (YAG, KenL...).

>As Rainer is already footing the beverage side of things - how about a nice drive on the autobahn ?
