>>Jay - I'm one of those types. Not many sheckels in the company's training budget sadly, so the costs would fall to moi. In the past i have attended (on my own dime) the Atlanta Fox show that Kevin Cully puts on, and i thought it was money well spent. But its rare. The Atlanta show had some particular sessions that i wanted to attend so i bit the bullet. Same is true with SWFox but I have not yet decided. For me, timing would be perfect to catch some specific sessions. And i dare say that it may be the last one. Plus the fact the DougH said he's buying beer for all attendees is a plus.

>Well, Rainer has a proven track record for more than ten years running of buying beer for attendees - and you might like german beer if you are coming to Frankfurt. On the off chance that you will be hungry at midnight, there often is a snack to make you thirsty again...

>Also there is at least one session in english - most of the time two, seldom three.

I wasnt aware of Rainer's record. I may have to rethink this. Airfare to Frankfurt is not bad for that timeframe. Although AZ is better. But i agree w/ Tracy... no spreken zie deutsche could be a problem for a tech conference trip, although i wouldnt mind muddling thru it.
Is this the main page for the conference?
http://devcon.dfpug.de/ It appears as though there's no english version of that page.
