I think she should testify. I think contempt charges are probably reasonable - except that almost all people I know already hold Congress in contempt and they would need to jail the entire country. If nothing else, she should show up and do the "executive privlege" equivalent of "pleading the fifth."

No, I'm not accusing you of being a McCarthyite and the situations are not equivalent........but as a generalized statement this is pretty scary.
