The very first job I got in LA was thru a recruiter I met at the local Fox user group. It was the first and last time I ever saw a recruiter at a Fox user group meeting.

I have never been to a dotnet event where there wasn't a recruiter in some shape or form floating around, desperately trying to fill a bevy of positions.
