Harry, I placed a textbox on a form and made its tooltiptext property equal to

o.tooltiptext="12345"+replicate("Abcdefghi ",12)+"12"

And when I ran the form I could not reproduce this problem in either VFP5 or VFP6 on NT4. What's your platform?
