Lists and comboboxes are really good when 1) the user doesn't mind using the mouse, 2) the list is short (50-200 items), and 3) the list won't grow very much over time.
Regarding comboboxes, in VFP 3.0 a 1000 item combo box was very slow
but in VFP 5.0 I found it OK. In VFP 5.0 is the entire list kept in
memory ? I think MS has modified that but I'm not sure.
Thanks
