But weren't the blue supposed to be full of stuff that makes kids go rajj, or summat like that, and so were withdrawn? Blus smarties got so popular that there was even a scuba club near here called "Blus Smartie Diving"

>Thats what the Internet is for. I think they're wrong about the smartie flavour. I've never tasted orange. Tha last big change was the introduction of blue.

>>>Interesting but very short on facts. One thing is that nearly all the orig choc manufacturers in England were Quakers, Cadbury included. There is a dark choc bar by Cad., called Bourneville Plain. Bourneville is the town, near Birmingham (Eng) that Cadbury built for his workers. When I was at art college in B'ham I found that bars in certain parts of the city were "dry" on a Sunday, being on Quaker land.

>>>As for M&Ms being like Smarties - i think the opposite is true. When I tried an M&M for the 1st time, a few years ago, I was surprised at just how like Smarties they were.

>>>Yes we like our Brit choc, but the Europeans look down their nose at it, esp. the Belgians.

>>>Ever had Maltesers? Pop one in the mouth and that's the end of the bag, box. They're soooo morish.

- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
