Hi All,
I’m having a problem with a form based on CbizObjNoListMaintForm where the behavior of the form class conflicts with what I’m trying to do. The problem specifically has to do with the form’s insistence of adding a new record when the business object is empty.
How do I prevent the form from automatically creating a new record whenever I 1.first call the form, 2.after I click on the cancel button, or 3.click on the save button?
The form I am developing is a Sales Order form that requires the user to base a new sales order on a sales estimate record. So when the user clicks the ‘New’ button, a dialog appears that allows the user to find and select the sales estimate record. If the sales order form automatically creates a new record when the primary business object is empty the ‘Select Sales Estimate’ dialog always appears.
I have tried setting the pgfBizObj.lNewRecordOnPage1 and pgfBizObj.lUIEnablerNewRecord properties to .F. but this did not give me the results I’m looking for.
Anyone have any comments or suggestions?
Regards,
George
