Have you been to Toronto? Sounds like it. We have the major part of the city and the suburbs (known as the 905 because of the area code). One of our illustrious city councillors took a trip across the top of Toronto from the east end to the west end through the 905 regions using the various bus systems. It took an entire day. IIRC, about 13 hours.
