Yes, I have an idea. At the bottom of the screen you may see a scrolling message, like 'Attempting to lock' (I forgot the message myself).
It happens when table is buffered and another operation tries to open this table in transaction.
Hard to track this problem is and very scary for the users.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
