Back ground:
14 remote sites synchronizing with central database (10 dbc's)
Triggers log all insert, update and deletes to each dbc
log consists of dbc name, table, old values, new values.
synchronization thru vpn tunnels every 15 to 45 seconds



I have a real puzzler. One user created a new record and it was synchronize with all of the other remote sites and central database. Particular record's log lists all fields with new values. Every other DBC has correct information, however, origination DBC dropped a DATEFIELD. Looking closer, this has happened at that site on about 15 records today on a table with over 8000 records. As the record is created, the trigger fires a logging routine where old vs new values for each field changed. Once the log has been created, the synchronization process does not touch the originating table, just querries logging table and sends to central Database to be updated and then sends out to all remote sites.

Is there any reason why it would only affect one datefield in the table? Looks like these happened over a 10-15 minute period and after that all is okay.
