That is a very interesting statement. It's my opinion that certain things can make the job of programming easier. Mastery of every little nitty gritty quirk of language is counter productive in the large part.
Doing "Hello world" is impractical. Data and Business objects should be used to make applications for the same reason that one does not design an electrical appliance that is to be soldered into the wiring of the wall. I don't have to study the internals of a wall socket or the common plug to use them.
Starting with data objects one can easily create a program which extracts "hello world" from a data table and puts it on a form.
