You know, I think you've mentioned Smarties before ... and at the time, I remember thinking that it was odd because the discussion was about chocolate. Now I find out (by reading the link), that British Smarties are not the same as the Smarties that I grew up with (and still love, BTW). The Smarties we get here are a sweet/sour kind of thing (somewhat like Sweet Tarts, but a lot smaller and not as tart). Smarties are my second favorite candy (my favorite being any kind of chocolate, of course).

Really? British smarties are different? Wow. I love 'our' smarties, but chocolate-flavored smarties would be even better.

Of course, nothing beats the Super-Hot Tamales (which are not easy find) and Fifth Avenue Bars. Yummy
